The Society of Tridentine Alpinists (Società degli alpinisti tridentini, SAT) is an Italian mountaineering association operating in the province of Trento. It was founded in Madonna di Campiglio on 2 September 1872 with the name of Società alpina del Trentino (Alpine Society of Trentino). The founders were Prospero Marchetti (1822-1884), first president, and Nepomuceno Bolognini (1823-1900). In 1920 became an autonomous section of the Italian Alpine Club (Club Alpino Italiano, CAI).
