Medfjordbåen is a lighthouse located on an underwater reef, in the middle of the waters of the Oslo Fjord (in Norwegian, Oslofjorden), southwest of the city of Moss. Its coordinates are 59°20.1300′N 10°34.3000′E. It belongs to the municipality of Tønsberg, in the county of Vestfold og Telemark. It has a height of 21.10 m (69.20 ft).

Cayo Paredón Grande is an island of the Jardines del Rey archipelago, north of Camagüey Province. Its extension is 8.7 km² (3.36 sq mi). It is located off the north coast of Cayo Romano, to which it is linked by a viaduct. The island's economy is mainly based on tourism, thanks to its white sand beaches. The lighthouse, also known as Faro Diego Velázquez, built in 1859, has a height of 48 m (157.5 ft) and a range of 27 nautical miles (50 km, or 31 mi).

Laidunina Lighthouse (Estonian: Laidunina tuletorn) is located in Kahtlalaid Peninsula, Laimjala Parish, on the island of Saaremaa. It was built in 1907 of red brick with a gallery and a one-story hexagonal stone base. The height of the tower is 24 m (78.7 ft) from the foot and 27 m (88.6 ft) from sea level. The lantern was removed, with the lighthouse being deactivated in 1924. The lighting equipment was transferred to Kübassaare Lighthouse. Later the tower was used as a day signal. Since 2004 it is no longer used as a navigation signal. The lighthouse was recognized as an architectonic monument of Estonia in 2005.

Hörnum (Söl’ring Frisian: Hörnem; Danish: Hørnum) is a municipality in the district of Nordfriesland, in Schleswig-Holstein State. It is located on the southern headland of the island of Sylt. According to the census of December 31, 2020, its population was 917 people. The 33.5 meter high lighthouse, built in 1907, was also used as a school between 1918 and 1930. In both the first and second world wars Hörnum was considered a strategic location: in 1914 the first military barracks were built , and in the mid-1930s the Luftwaffe established a naval air station in the town, causing the population to increase markedly. In the 1970s, the development of tourism began and the military use of the island was terminated.

The 36.27 m (119 ft) tall Arngast Lighthouse, built between 1909 and 1910, is located in Jade Bight in the southern part of the North Sea. The tower stands on a sandbar, about 4.5 km (2.8 mi) southeast of the city of Wilhelmshaven. Originally, the beacon was powered by two 12 hp diesel engines. Since 1966, an approximately 6 km (3.73 mi) long submarine cable has supplied the station with power from Dangast. Since 1968, the lighthouse has been controlled centrally via a remote control system. In 2003 the lighthouse was entered in the register of cultural and architectural monuments.

Devinuwara (Sinhala: දෙවිනුවර) Lighthouse is located on Dondra Head, the southernmost point in Sri Lanka and is Sri Lanka's tallest lighthouse, and also one of the tallest in South East Asia. The name Dondra is a synonym for "Devi-Nuwara" in the local Sinhala language, "Devi" meaning "Gods" and "Nuwara" meaning "City". The 49-meter (161 ft) lighthouse, designed by James Nicholas Douglass, began construction in November 1887 and became operational in March 1890. It is an octagonal tower with balcony and lantern. The rotating lens was removed in 2020 and replaced by a static flashing LED light.

Beachy Head is a chalk headland in East Sussex. It is situated close to Eastbourne within the administrative area of Eastbourne Borough Council which owns the land. The cliff rising to 162 m (531 ft) above sea level. In 1831, construction began on the Belle Tout Lighthouse on the next headland west from Beachy Head. Because mist and low clouds could hide the light of Belle Tout, it was decommissioned in 1902, after the Beachy Head Lighthouse had been built in the sea below Beachy Head as a replacement. The ashes of German social scientist and philosopher Friedrich Engels were scattered off the cliffs at Beachy Head into the Channel, as he had requested.

Ristna Lighthouse (Estonian: Ristna tuletorn) is located in Ristna Point, in the westernmost part of the Kõpu Peninsula, on the island of Hiiumaa. The metal structure of the lighthouse was built in Gustave Eiffel's factory in Paris and assembled in 1874. It is a 20.5 m (97 ft) hexagonal tower. It consists of two concentric iron cylinders with a spiral staircase between them. During World War I in 1915, the lighthouse was damaged, and five years later, in 1920, the tower was covered with concrete.  In 1994, a satellite navigation base station was installed at the lighthouse with the help of the Finnish Maritime Administration.

Start Point is a promontory in the South Hams district in Devon, south-west England. Close to the most southerly point in the county, it marks the southern limit of Start Bay, which extends northwards to the estuary of the River Dart. The rocks of the point are greenschist and mica-schist, formed by metamorphism of Devonian sediments during a period of mountain building towards the end of the Carboniferous period. As a result of the many shipwrecks in the area, Start Point lighthouse was built in 1836 to alert ships to the danger of the point and its surrounding rocks.

The Morro lighthouse is located next to the San Pedro de la Roca Castle, better known as Castillo del Morro, built by the Spanish colonizers in the 17th century south of the city of Santiago de Cuba, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea, on the southernmost coast of the island. Its height is 18 m (59 ft), 83 m (272 ft) from sea level. It is the work of French builders and was put into operation in 1842. It was destroyed during the Spanish-American War in 1898, and was rebuilt in a short time. The lighthouse was modernized in 1914 but, due to disruptions caused by World War I, its optical equipment was not installed until 1923. Its lamp emits beams of light through lenses, which rotate 360 degrees. Its range is 27 nautical miles (approximately 50 km or 31 mi).

Mamoudzou is, since 1977, the capital of Mayotte, a French overseas region and department in the Indian Ocean. When the referendum for the independence of the Comoros Islands was held (December 22, 1974), Mayotte voted to remain linked to France, while the State of Comoros proclaimed its independence on July 6, 1975. Mamoudzou is the most populated commune (municipality) of Mayotte (71,437, according to the 2017 census). It is located on Grande-Terre (or Maoré), the main island of Mayotte. In the background of the seal you can see the promontory of Pointe de Mahabou.

Latakia (Arabic: ٱللَّاذْقِيَّة) is the main port city of Syria and capital city of the Latakia Governorate. Historically, it has also been known as Laodicea in Syria. Although the site of the city has been inhabited since the 2nd millennium BC, the city was founded in the 4th century BC under the rule of the Seleucid Empire. In 1920, following World War I, Latakia, which then belonged to the Ottoman Empire, was assigned to the French mandate of Syria, in which it served as the capital of the autonomous territory of the Alawites. This autonomous territory became the Alawite State in 1922, proclaiming its independence a number of times until reintegrating into Syria in 1944. In 1973, during the Yom Kippur War, the naval Battle of Latakia between Israel and Syria was fought just offshore from the city. Latakia is located 348 km(216 mi) north-west of Damascus. According to the 2009 census, the city's population was 650,558. The modern Port of Latakia (Arabic: ميناء اللاذقية; French: Port de Lattaquié) was established on February 12, 1950, and it has since served as Syria's main seaport.

The Galle Lighthouse (also known as Pointe de Galle Light) is Sri Lanka's oldest light station. The first lighthouse at Galle was built by the British in 1848 from cast-iron plates, imported from England, designed by British architect Alexander Gordon. In July 1936 it was destroyed by fire. The current 26.5-metre-high (87 ft) concrete lighthouse was erected about 100 m (330 ft) from the original site in 1939.

Dyrhólaey ("door hill island"), formerly known by seamen as Cape Portland, is a small promontory located on the south coast of Iceland, not far from the village Vík í Mýrdal. It was formerly an island of volcanic origin; The volcano erupted about 100 thousand years ago during the Pleistocene. The peninsula has an elevation of 120 m (390 ft), and the Dyrhólaey Lighthouse, built in 1910 and rebuilt in 1927, sits at the top of the formation. In front of the peninsula, there is a gigantic black arch of lava standing in the sea, which gave the peninsula its name. Dyrhólaey and its surrounding cliffs are a paradise for bird watchers.

Kõpu Lighthouse (Estonian: Kõpu tuletorn) is located in Mägipe village, northwestern of the island of Hiiumaa. It is one of the oldest lighthouses in the world, having been in continuous use since its completion in 1531. This lighthouse marks the Hiiu Shoal (Estonian: Hiiu madal, Swedish: Neckmansgrund) and warns ships away from the shoreline. Light from Kõpu Lighthouse can be used for navigation as far as 26 nautical miles (48 km or 30 mi) away. It was previously known by its Swedish name, Övre Dagerort. The lighthouse is built at the top of the highest hillock of Hiiumaa island, Tornimägi (English: Tower Hill, 68 m or 223 ft). The height of the building itself is 37.7 m (124 ft), and the light is 103.6 m (340 ft) above sea level, making it the highest coastal light on the Baltic Sea. Due to deterioration, the lighthouse underwent frequent repairs; major repairs were in completed in 1957 and 1970. During the repairs in years 1978–81 on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of the lighthouse, it was covered with a reinforced concrete shell and perchlorovinyl yellow paint. The lantern room of the lighthouse was renovated in 2001 and the tower was last repainted, with whitewash, in 2012.

Mohni is a 61.5-hectare island in the Gulf of Finland, 4.5 km (2.80 mi) off the northern coast of Estonia, on the northeastern side of the Eru Bay. It is 2.3 km (1.43 mi) long and 250 m (820 ft) wide; it is elongated in a northwest-southeast direction. The perimeter of the coastline is about 7.48 km (4.65 mi). It belongs to Kuusalu Parish in Harju County and is located in Lahemaa National Park. The first, wooden lighthouse on the island was built in 1806, and the brick lighthouse was completed in 1852 and rebuilt in 1871. The island, currently uninhabited, was inhabited until 2017.

The Confederation Bridge (French: Pont de la Confédération) is a box girder bridge carrying the Trans-Canada Highway across the Abegweit Passage of the Northumberland Strait, linking the province of Prince Edward Island with the province of New Brunswick on the mainland. Opened May 31, 1997, the 12.9-kilometre (8.0 mi) bridge is Canada's longest bridge and the world's longest bridge over ice-covered water. Construction took place from October 1993 to May 1997. In April 2022, the Legislative Assembly of Prince Edward Island voted unanimously in favor of renaming the bridge to "Epekwitk Crossing", whereas Epekwitk is the traditional Mi'kmaq name for Prince Edward Island.

Cape Hatteras National Seashore preserves the portion of the Outer Banks of North Carolina from Bodie Island to Ocracoke Island, stretching over 110 km (70 mi), and is managed by the National Park Service. It was established on January 12, 1953. Tiene una superficie de 122.83 km² (30,351 acres). Three visitor centers offer information about the Cape Hatteras National Seashore: the Bodie Island Visitor Center, located in the north, adjacent to the Bodie Island Lighthouse, which is open for tours seasonally; the Hatteras Island Visitor Center and Museum of the Sea, located in the Cape Hatteras Light keeper's quarters, in Buxton; and the Ocracoke Island Visitor Center, located in Ocracoke, near the Ocracoke Lighthouse.

Ruhnu (Swedish: Runö; German: Runö; Latvian: Roņu sala) is an island in the Gulf of Riga in the Baltic Sea. It is administratively part of Saare County but is geographically closer to the Latvian mainland. At 11.88 km² (4.6 sq mi), its length is 5.5 km (3.42 mi) and its width is 3.5 km (2.17 mi). Its population, in 2011, was 55 permanent inhabitants, mostly ethnic Estonian. Ruhnu Parish has the smallest population of Estonia's 79 municipalities. Before 1944, it was for centuries populated by ethnic Swedes and traditional Swedish law was used. Ruhnu Stave Church, from 1643, is the oldest surviving wooden building in Estonia. The island is connected to the mainland through the Ringsu port and Ruhnu Airfield. The quadripod metallic tower lighthouse, designed by Gustave Eiffel, was prefabricated in France and shipped to Ruhnu for assembly in 1877; it stands on the highest point of the island, Håubjärre Hill, 28 m (92 ft) high.

Opened in January 1, 1900, the Tinsdal Lighthouse (German: Leuchtturm Tinsdal) forms the Wittenbergen-Tinsdal main light line on the Elbe River in the district of Rissen (Hamburg). It is 16 m (52.49 ft) above sea level and its height is 57.5 m (188.65 ft). The tower has been electrified since 1966 and has been remotely controlled since 1979. In 1988, the light source was again replaced by dual signal lights (2 x 60 watts) with a visibility of 16 nautical miles. On March 31, 2004 it was declared a German Historical Monument.
