Krimml
Waterfalls (in German, Krimmler Wasserfälle), with a total height of 385
m (1,263 ft), are the highest waterfall in Austria. The falls are formed from
the Krimmler Ache, a glacial stream, and are located near the village of
Krimml, in the Hohe
Tauern National Park (state of Salzburg), at an altitude of 1,090 m (3,576
ft). The waterfall descends in three steps of 145, 100 and 140 m.
