Each

Working Group selects the EUROPA stamp theme. "Ancient Postal Routes" was the
2020 theme.
The stamp “P” of the Belarusian issue depicts the postal route “Kraków - Warsaw
- Grodno - Vilnius”, approved by the Grand Duke of Lithuania Stefan Bátory in
1583; against the background of the map there is a messenger holding a road
sheet, a special travel document that noted the date, time and direction of
departure of the messenger.
The stamp “H” depincs the postal route “Vilnius - Maladzyechna - Minsk -
Borisov - Drutsk - Orsha - Smolensk” and a messenger on horseback.
