Akka Massif (Áhkká, in the Sámi language), is in the Scandinavian Alps, and his highest summit is the Stortoppen (Sarektjåkkå), 2,015 m (6,611 ft). The massif has twelve main peaks and ten glaciers. It is inside the Stora Sjöfallet National Park.

In the same park is Akkajaure Lake (Áhkájávrre, in Sámi), one of the largest reservoirs in Sweden. Its area varies between 94 and 242 km² (36 and 93 sq mi) and the water level, between 423 and 453 m (1,388 and 1,486 ft) above sea level, depending on the volume of water it contains at any given time, which is fluctuating because it is used to obtain hydroelectric power. It is fed largely by the river Voujatätno, and also through a tunnel from the Sitasjaure (Sijdasjávrre) reservoir, and drain into the river Lule (Julevädno). In its vicinity are several Sámi villages.
