The Ägerisee (Lake Aegeri) is a 7.3 km² (2.8 sq mi) lake of glacial origin in the Schwyz Alps, at 724 m (2,375 ft) above sea level. Its length is 5.4 km (3.4 mi), its maximum width is 1.4 km (0.87 mi), and its mean depth is 49 m (161 ft). It belongs to the canton of Zug. Its main tributary is the Hüribach and empties through the Lorze. On its banks are the municipalities of Oberägeri and Unterägeri. Since 1992 it has been used as a drinking water reservoir.
