The
President Tsiranana Bridge over the Sofia River is located
between the towns of Antsohihy
and Boriziny, in the Sofia region of
northwestern Madagascar. The RN6
national road runs through it. It has now lost its original name, which was
that of the first president of the country after its independence from France, Philibert Tsiranana,
who remained in power until October 1972. [No further information on this
bridge could be obtained.]
