The
Vran Mountain (Vran planina), in the municipality of Tomislavgrad (Herzegovina-Neretva
Canton), Bosnia and Herzegovina, is part of the Dinaric Alps. It has
three peaks: Veliki Vran (‘Great Vran’) 2,074 m (6,804 ft); Mali Vran (‘Little
Vran’), 2,017 m (6,617 ft) and Bijela Glava (‘White Head’), 1,990 m (6,529 ft).
In the stamp you can see, in the foreground, Blidinje Lake. The name
of the mountain (vran means 'raven') is due to its dark appearance.
