Gan
Ha-Shlosha National Park (Hebrew: גן השלושה; Arabic: الساخنة) is located between
kibbutzim Beit Alfa and Nir
David, near Beit She’an.
It has natural hot water, which remains constant throughout the year at a
temperature of 28 ºC (82.4 ºF). The water emerges in the western part of the
park, at the foot of Mount
Gilboa, and the Amal stream leads it to two large interconnected pools where
visitors can take a bath. The park is home to the Museum
of Regional and Mediterranean Archeology, a display of rare Greek tools and
artifacts from excavations in the Beit She’an Valley, and an old, restored
Ottoman flour mill.
