The
Romanesque bridge of Sant Antoni de la Grella (also known as Sispony Bridge),
over the North Valira River, is located in the parish of La Massana. Its structure
is simple, of popular architecture, built in the Middle Ages and restored in
the 1940s. Its length is 21.20 m (69.55 ft) and its maximum height is 5.55 m
(18.21 ft).
The Valira (or Gran Valira) is the main river in Andorra, which flows from north to south and empties into the Segre. It is made up of the North Valira and the Eastern Valira, which come together in the parish of Escaldes-Engordany. The Valira river system is 35 km (21.75 mi) long.
