The
21 m (69 ft) high Tahana waterfall is in the course of the Nahal Iyon stream, a
tributary of the Jordan River, which originates in southern Lebanon and forms a
small nature reserve there. It is located in the the strategic town of Metula,
the northernmost of Israel, in Upper Galilee, on the border with Lebanon, from
which it is separated by the Blue Line
established by the United Nations on June 7, 2000.
